Study programme: Chemical Engineering
Study field: Eco-energetic engineering
Study programme Chemical Engineering educates human resources for the performance of professional work in the field of technological engineering in the scientific field of Chemical engineering. In the framework of this study programme specialists are educated and trained to independently organize and run production processes in chemical, oil-petrochemical, food and pharmaceutical industry.
The bachelor degree studies of Chemical Engineering cover three optional study fields (modules): Chemical-Processing, Oil-Petrochemical and Eco-Energetic Engineering.
Study field Eco-energetic engineering, includes multidisciplinary application of natural sciences, ecology and engineering disciplines, necessary for enabling of this type of engineers for identification, analysis and solving of current eco-energetic problems in process industry as well as for their readiness to accept challenges in the future of environmental protection from the sustainable development aspect. Engineers of this study programme are enabled to work in process technologies (food, chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical industry and biotechnological production) with the aim of: rationalization of production process, application of renewable energy resources, development of new process technologies for the use of secondary raw materials, waste management, recycling of secondary products and projection of environmental protection system.
